Media Ministry
The purpose of the Media Ministry at OPC is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use the electronic ministry as a worship and outreach tool. Those who choose to serve in this ministry can find great fulfillment in being part of a team who loves the Lord and who has a great time serving. The Media Ministry is about people. We are all about the people who come to a church service or church event, and we are all about the people who help to make the Media Ministry run.
There are many opportunities for you in the Media Ministry. Don’t let any ‘technical’ lingo scare you, It’s OK if you don’t have experience. As long as you have the desire, this is where you can get the experience. Media is a behind-the-scenes type of ministry and it can be easy to forget that it even exists. But if its volunteers all stayed home, even for one weekend, people would instantly understand what a vital role the Media Ministry has in all aspects of communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
